The Destruction

A Random 3 for a Thursday:

1. Hallelujah, Shamus is going to get his license renewed today as it is rapidly approaching a year expired in July. If it went past the year, he would have to retake the driver's test...I just have visions of him swearing, bad marks from the instructor and me having to cart him everywhere after.

2. Realized how dirty my car is when I picked up the second hitchhiker in a week and flushed with embarassment had to put down one of my reusable shopping bags for the poor chap to sit on. To do list for the weekend: clean the car. It is mud season...

The back seat, which is never in the seated position to ensure maximum dog comfortablility. Was trying to get a good shot of the paw prints then realized mud was also splattered across the door...we live in filth.

The front seat sans brat one or two.

"Oh what, were MY paws dirty???"

3. It is supposed to be in the low 50's the next two days and I am SO excited to be outside!!! We had a snowmobile at work day two days ago to check a property that my boss manages, which is roughly 7 miles outside of Crested Butte and here are a few photos of the snow:

The barn doors, which we had to dig down to get to

A photo of the barn, it's under there somewhere

Steps up to the front of the "cabin"

You pick up hitchhikers???

Cripes, I knew I should have clarified that one. In our little valley, as well as most little ski towns a lot of folks don't have cars and hitchhiking is a form of transportation. Only once did the person I pick up give me the creeps...

whoa, that is a lot of snow. I hope it warms up fast. And I bet those hitch hikers (aka skiers) don't mind. FREE RIDE!

Crazy snow pictures. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I shouldn't lose sight of the fact that I was running that day too. My DL expired while I was in Japan, and I had to retake the driving test. I was more scared the second time around than when I first got it!

funderson - Ha, I knew you would say that...smarty pants.
LC - we are hoping it goes quick. I have a case of dirt fever : )
Greg - I'm with you I'd be a nervous wreck if I had to take it again...although I have mastered parallel parking, which I had NO skills for the first time round.
