Another and another

Today was another L.S.D., Long - check, Slow - always a check with me, and Distance - check, kind of pieced together, but a bluebird Colorado day, 40 degrees, sunny! I parked on Kebler Pass and ran up Trappers' (see map below) ~6 miles round trip and 1200 feet of elevation change. It's a "private" road and therefore I am poaching, but in the winter/spring we are fairly limited and I choose to ask for forgiveness instead of permission. I know I'm a rebel, NOT.

Then, on the map it's County Road 12 (Kebler Pass), I ran up this, which is paved for ~ 2 miles until I came to the winter trail head and the entrance to Wildcat, also a "private" road ~10 miles round trip. Somewhere along the way, I dropped my jacket on the road and upon coming back down it was laying on the snowbank on the side of the road. Meaning that someone had grabbed it out of the road for me, nice person, but this made me laugh in thoughts that someone might have at first thought about taking it until they smelled the stench and tossed it. Only honest people live here, so I'm sure not, but it still made me laugh all the same. I'm an idiot with Google Earth, but at least you get some sort of idea:

All in all a good day and I leave you with a couple of photos...

Me telling the last effing swithback going up Wildcat to go stuff itself... Awesome, I ran in shortsleeves, luckily there was alot of snow in the back ground so as not to blind you all by my ghostliness.

Kebler Pass winter trail head, pretty much a "highway" for snowmobiles...

Mud on my calves - I'm like a 5 year old stomping through the mud. Hey, it's something other than snow, EXCITING!

Peace...
